We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2020, at the age of 91, Thomas Nelson Harmon of Scarborough, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son John; his wives, Betty and Ardeth "Sunny"; and his sisters, Beth Greenleaf and Doris Flaherty.

He is survived by : his former life partner Elizabeth Crawford; his grandson John Harmon II (Jennifer); his great grandchild Nicholas of Scarborough, ME; his granddaughter Nicole Erickson (Brad) of Herndon, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Christina Harmon of Scarborough, ME; his stepchildren, Ted Browne (Dona) of Saco, ME, Scott Browne (Sheryl) of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Laurie Castignetti (Lee) of Braintree, MA and Leslie MacMurtry (Tom) of Bedford, NH; and also John Crawford Harmon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“Dear Chris, John, Nicole And Mr. Harmon’s extended family, my deepest sympathies go out to one and all. Mr. Harmon was one of the nicest men in a community, I had the privilege to serve in for over 26 yrs. A glowing light has dimmed in the Town of Scarborough, he will be truly missed.”
