He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Byron and Nina Byron (Burnham); his son Eric G. Byron; and his brothers, Francis "Frank" Byron, Elwood "Bud" Byron, Lynn G. Byron and Randall "Randy" Byron.
He is survived by: his significant other Toni Gilbert (Antoinette) of Smithfield; his daughter-in-law Amy Byron of Livermore Falls; his grandchildren, Kimberly Benoit (Jonathan Benoit) of Livermore, Jennifer Byron (Craig Lewin) of Livermore and Eric J. Byron (Bina Harriet) of Livermore Falls; his great grandchild Clayton Benoit of Livermore; and his stepchildren, Rhonda Cain (AJ Cain) of Vassalboro and Steve Gilbert (Anne) of Kittery. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.
