He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Stephenson Sr. and Marion Stephenson; his brother Lester "Stevie" Stephenson Jr. (Marie Stephenson); his siblings-in-law, Carl Vasseur, Marie Johnson and Jane Vasseur; his daughter-in-law Jane Baldassini; and his great grandchild Tucker Giguere.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Stephenson; his sister Priscilla Lucey (Bob Lucey); his children, Jody Stephenson, Honey Rossi (Paul Rossi Jr.), Chuck Stephenson (Melissa Stephenson), Lisa Haskell (Dan Haskell), Amy Hayes (Chris Hayes), Ken Baldassini and Scott Baldassini (Debbie Baldassini); and his grandchildren, Shane Stephenson, Chad Gerstner, Thomas Batcheldar, Samantha Bishop, Jack Tobey, Olivia Baldassini, Roxie Stephenson, Spencer Stephenson, Jessica Baldassini, Jillian Baldassini, Sam Rossi, Ben Rossi, Cole Hayes, Cody Hayes and Jesse Hayes. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
