We bid farewell to Jo-Ann Rose Farris of South Paris, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 13, 2026 at the age of 78. Jo-Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William McAllister and Wilma McAllister (O'Brien); her husbands, Lawrence Thurston and Ronald Farris; her daughters, Lisa Thurston and Sheila Teeple; and her sisters, Barbara Durgin and Shirley Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, Leslie Thurston (Jennifer) of Albany Twp and Howard Thurston (Kelly) of Oxford; and her brother Donald McAllister of Norway. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
