The memory of Roger F. Merrill of South Paris, Maine, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Merrill and Mabelle Merrill (Slattery); his wife Sally Powell; his son Frank; and his brothers, Jim and Jack.
He is survived by: his caregiver Sara Wentworth; his children, Debra Wentworth (John), Steve Merrill (Sharon) and Joe Merrill (Katie); and his grandchildren, Joey Merrill (Soma), Karianna Merrill, Nicole Sanders (Chris) and Donnie Leavitt (Amanda). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the American Legion Post No. 72 (12 Church St, South Paris, ME 04281).
