With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel P. Coffey Sr. of South Portland, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daniel left this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Daniel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Daniel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Coffey and Pauline Coffey; and his sister Patricia Coffey. He is survived by: his children, Daniel, Jr. of South Portland and Melissa (Tyler Dostie) of Portland; and his siblings, Marilyn McKeen of Newbury, Gerald Coffey (Jacqueline) of Atkinson and Mary Ellen Arsenault (Bob) of Newburyport. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hobbs Funeral Home - South Portland (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106).
