It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Evans (South Portland, Maine), who passed away on October 3, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mercedes Evans (Halley); his parents, Ronald Evans and Margaret Evans (Jewer); and his brother Gordon Evans. He is survived by: his children, Diane Bacon of Portland, ME and Robert Evans (Nancy) of Portland, ME; his siblings, Doug Evans, Marion Fojan and Barbara Struck; his granddaughters, Michaela, Andrea Bacon and Lindsey Kwarteng (DJ); and his nephew Jim Halley (Kristin).
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute,.
