It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hillier of South Portland, Maine, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Hillier and Catherine Hillier (O'Leary); his son Jonathan Hillier; and his brother Fred Hillier. He is survived by : his daughters, Lori Hillier of South Portland and Jennifer (Jesse Dowling) of Kennebunkport; his grandchildren, Austin Gross, Jennifer Gross, Samantha Hillier, Willa Dowling, Ryan Hillier and Madeline Dowling; and his sister Catherine Hillier Woodward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
