He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Farrar Plummer and Raymond V. Mitchell, Sr.; his sisters, Olive Mae Mitchell Barnes, Harriet Farrar Mitchell Hawkes and Mildred Alice Mitchell Crocker; and his granddaughter Allison Ishihara.
He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Joyce Mitchell (Hall); and his children, Nancy Albertsen (Mark) of Bountiful, UT, Leonard Mitchell (Deborah) of Taylor, TX, Heidi Pratt (Scott) of Gorham, Rebecca Billin (Michael) of Meredith, NH and Michael Mitchell (Jennifer) of Gorham. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (29 Ocean House Rd, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107).
