As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Meyer; his sons, Mark Robert Meyer (Julie) of Edmonds and Jon Meyer (Debbie) of Rochester; and his grandchildren, Steffi, Jordan, Zachary, Cassidy and Caden Meyer.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Woodbine Cemetery (471 Main St, Ellsworth, ME 04605).
