It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Hunter in South Portland, Maine, born in Richmond, Maine, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace L. Hunter and Hazel G. Hunter (Baxter); his wife Dorothy; and his brothers, Junior, Rodney, Floyd, Elmer, Ken and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Hunter of Honolulu, HI and Lori Dorey (Michael) of Buxton, ME; his grandson Brandon Dorey (Autumn); his great grandchildren, Liam, Hudson and Davis; his sister Patricia Fialkosky (Ed) of Groton, CT.; and his stepchildren, Laura Kenny (James Sabina), Leah Folsom (Thomas Kugel), Lycia Morley (Jack) and Doug Folsom (Deborah). He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Congregational Church of Conway, N. H. (132 Main St, Conway, NH 03818).
