He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Beals and Katherine Beals (Thompson); his wife Patricia Beals (Bowen); and his sister Elaine "Karen" Nye. He is survived by: his grandson Everett; his children, Laurie Beals of Springvale, Eric (Jen) of Lyman and Edward "Tim" (Jill) of Kennebunk; his grandchildren, Evan, Libby, Trevor Beals and Ella Beals; and his sister Beverly (Spike Fogg) of Sanford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
