He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Joseph Laurendeau and Rose Lima Laurendeau (Grubb); his brother Joseph Francis "Billy" Melanson; his former wife Jacqueline Joyce Melanson (Duprez); his son Brian John Melanson; and his nephew Brian John Melanson.
He is survived by: his son Todd William Roberge; his wife Debbie; his daughter Heather Gale (David); his grandchildren, Hannah Gale of Amesbury, Keegan and Konnor Roberge of Wells; his brothers, Leo Paul Laurendeau (Sharla Dee Woodward) of Kaysville and Thomas James Laurendeau (Diane Elaine Ryan) of Acton; and his nephew Mark Melanson (Laurie Flayhan) of Alfred.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Black-Heald & Walker Funeral Home (580 Main St, Springvale, ME 04083). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish Holy Family Church (66 North Ave, Sanford, ME 04073).
