It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Hawkes (Standish, Maine), born in Westbrook, Maine, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bonnie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her sister Diana. She is survived by: her husband Alan Hawkes of Standish; her sons, Duncan MacDougall of Standish and Troy Hawkes (Allyce) of Standish; her stepson Adam Hawkes of Standish; her grandsons, Andrew, Mathew, Blake and Charles Hawkes of Standish; her sister Jennifer; and her cousin Linwood Ashton.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamlin Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richville Library (743 Richville Rd, Standish, ME 04084).
