He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Roland Rivard and Phyllis Rivard; his daughter Rachel Rivard Wilcox (Burton); his grandchildren, Bristol and Wesley of Union, ME; his children, Bradley Rivard (Izzy) of Windham, ME and Megan Marks (Jeff); and his sisters, Peggy Rivard Walsh and Patty Rivard Walchli.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in his memory be sent to the Chisolm Ski Club Youth Development at PO Box 616 Rumford, ME 04276.
