She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick "Dick" Leighton; her parents, Earl Round and Hazel Round (Ludden); her son Rick; her siblings, David Round and Meredith Whalen; and her granddaughter-in-law Amanda Emery.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Brenda Leighton; her children, Rosalie Emery (Ollie) and Daniel Leighton (Suellen); her grandchildren, Alan (Cassie), Todd (Whitney), Anthony, Patrick (Rachel), Shawna (Rich) and Ryan (Shariden); her sister-in-law Dot Round; and her friend Marion Morrison. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
