He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Arris and Louise Arris (Varney); his sister Betty Walter; his son Peter Harrington; and the parents of child, Eugene and Louise Arris.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Arris of Sumner; his children, Robert Arris Jr. of Augusta, Jason (Sarah Berry) of Turner, Corey Arris (Natalie) of Hartford and Amy Douglass (Skip) of Sumner; and his siblings, Donna Stevens of Sumner, Linda Arris of Auburn, Marilyn Hammond (Raymond) of South Paris, Jim Richardson (Cindy) of Oxford and Junie Richardson of Oxford. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
