He was predeceased by : his parents, Cuthbert Gamlen and Acela Gamlen. He is survived by : his wife Linda of South Thomaston; his stepson Jeremy Duettra; and his brothers, Olaf Gamlen and Duncan Gamlen.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's name be sent to the Sussman House, 40 Anchor Drive, Rockport Maine 04856.
