He is survived by: his parents, David Sanborn and Joan Smith Sanborn of Thomaston; his children, Darryl Sanborn Jr. (Kelsey) of Rockland, Anna Cosgrove (Mitchell) of Thomaston, Justin Sanborn of Sonoma and Nicholas Sanborn of Windham; the mother of his children Julie Sanborn of Thomaston; his grandchildren, Aria and Marshall; his sister Teresa Walston of Warren; his nieces, Felicia Robinson of Warren, Emilee Cross and Isabella Cross of South Portland; and his nephew Basil Robinson (Cheryl) of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, many cousins.
