She was predeceased by: her parents, Luc Marquis and Marie Marquis (Sirois); her husband Raymond Lajoie; her son Herman Lajoie; and her granddaughter Kim Beaulieu.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Ouellette (Robert), Raymonde Laplante, Michael Lajoie (Marie), Linda Laplante (Louis) and Philip Lajoie (Susan); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Lajoie of Van Buren; and her sisters-in-law, Carline Boucher of Van Buren and Laura Marquis Cormier of Madawaska. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren.
