Marie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Marie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Clayton and Eleanor Clayton Sr. (Makara); and her former husband Gabriel "Bie" Michaud. She is survived by: her husband Joey Dumond of Van Buren; her son Peter Michaud (Erin) of Arizona; and her siblings, Clarence Clayton Jr., James Clayton and Eleanor Mikulskis. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lajoie Funeral Home (118 High St, Van Buren, ME 04785). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
