Michael J. Carbonneau Obituary
We announce the death of Michael J. Carbonneau of Van Buren, Maine, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 77. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrien Carbonneau and Lucille Carbonneau; his brothers, Dan, Peter, Greg and Thomas Carbonneau; and his pet Teddy.
He is survived by: his siblings, William "Bill" Carbonneau (France), Robert Carbonneau (Sandy), Helen Carbonneau and Edwina Morris (late Cyrus Morris); his nieces, Mindy Carbonneau and Sara Carbonneau; his great-nephew Abrielle Ruest (Jack Ruest); and his brother Teddy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lajoie Funeral Home (118 High St, Van Buren, ME 04785). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Remi Catholic Church (174 Main St, Van Buren, ME 04785). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Northern Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery.
