He is survived by: his sons, David Varney and Darrel Varney Varney (Jayne); his granddaughter Joan Kelly; his sister Mariam Potter; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Ross, Robin Reed (Skip) and Stevie Goucher (Jeanne); his cousin Cindy Goucher; and his pets, Clancy and Chancey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
