He is survived by: his sibling Dr. Sledge; his children, Margaret Sledge Tracy (Mego) of Redwood City, CA, Claire Sledge Smith of Essex, MA, John B. Sledge of Los Angeles, CA and Matthew C. B. Sledge of Boothbay Harbor, ME; his children-in-law, Christopher R. Smith, Isabella J. P. Sledge and Jennifer A. Barry Sledge; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Brian Tracy, Alexa, Elise Sledge, Margret, William Sledge, Mollie, Reid, Elsa and Annie Smith.
