She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert King and Ella Spencer King; and her husband Raymond Phinney. She is survived by: her brother Richard King; and her nieces, Jazmine and MacKenzie Paragon of Louisville, KYA.

In keeping with the kindness and generosity she showed throughout her life, Deborah gave the gift of life through organ donation. Through the donation of her liver and kidneys, her caring spirit will continue to help others in a meaningful and lasting way.
