She is survived by: her husband Jacob Arthur "Tunk" Stevens; and her children, Melinda Stevens of Newcastle, Jacob Stevens, IV (Donna Stevens) of Lewiston, ME, Abigail Stevens Gage (Dustin Gage) of Middleton, WI, Octavia Stevens (Sebastian Cariddi) of Sebago, ME and Georgianna Stevens (Jens Albrecht) of Southborough, MA.
As 2026 would have marked Sam's 60th year of volunteering with the library, donations may be made to the Friends of the Library in lieu of flowers.
