He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Staples and Arlene Staples (Goode); and his siblings, Atharlene (Donald Hammond), Arthur Mart (Karen Staples), Kenneth Goode and Ross Staples.
He is survived by : his wife Norma Delano Staples of Warren; his children, Kristin Staples of Mesa, AZ and Eric Staples of Westfield, MA; his siblings, Allen Staples (Mary) of Bucksport, ME and Kathleen Linscott of Bucksport, ME; his brothers-in-law, Larry Delano of Rockland, ME and Kerwin Creamer of Waldoboro, ME; and his close friend Bob Gordon. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
