He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kimmich and Elizabeth Weston Kimmich; his half-siblings, Kathrine Copeland and Raymond Kimmich; his wife Elizabeth Elwell (Eddie Reed) of Orff's Corner; and his close friend Helen.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah; his grandson Zachary of Waldoboro; his brother Robert Kimmich of Greenville; his nieces, Dawna and Lora; and his cousins, Anne Siegbert and Tim Weston.
