With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn S. Pitcher (Waldoboro, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marilyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marilyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Starrett and Esther Seppala Starrett; and her husband Ronald F. Pitcher of South Waldoboro. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Emerson (Terry) and Karl Pitcher (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jacob Emerson (Karen), Stacy Simmons (Greg), Audra Carlson (Phil), Savannah Bizier (Marcus) of Oak Ridge, NC, Chelsea Poland (Andrew) of Round Pond, Courtney Sweet (Spencer) of Redway, CA and Jasmine Doughty (Jeremy Yeaton) of Cushing; and her sisters, Patty Cleaves of Friendship and Mary Fairbanks of Thomaston. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
