He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Carroll Keene and Harriette Keene; and his brother Dr. Edward Keene. He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Keene (Farris) of Nobleboro; and his children, Robert Keene of Nobleboro, Stephen Keene (Elizabeth) of Pawcatuck, CT, Elizabeth Keene Bacchini (James) of Sacramento, CA and James Keene of Nobleboro. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Nobleboro, PO Box 35, Nobleboro, ME 04555.
