With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fonda Hughes of Washburn, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Linda Lawrence (Tuck) and Edgar Wheeler. She is survived by : her children, Brooke Sperrey of Mars Hill, Ryan Sperrey (Nashali) of Caribou and Caleb Fletcher of Presque Isle; her significant other Scott Hughes of Washburn; her sisters-in-law, Vicki Kinney (Raymond) of Chapman and Darla Anderson of Presque Isle; her siblings, Heidi Caruso (Joe) of North Carolina, Hilary West (Tracy) of Waterboro, Scott Graham (Janet) of Georgia, Mitch Wheeler (Allison) of Bridgewater, Martin Wheeler (Stacy) of Bridgewater, Kelly Kingsbury and Terri Brewer (George) of Mars Hill; and her close friends, Scott Tilmont of Limestone, Rocky Hill Sr. (Andrea) of Mapleton, Budd Nicholson Jr. of Easton and Robert Fletcher of Presque Isle.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Duncan Funeral Home (8 Main St, Mars Hill, ME 04758). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
