She was predeceased by : her parents, James Curtis and Anita Curtis (Ames); her brothers, Anthony and Mark Curtis; her stepdaughter Emily Kroesser; and her grandson Christopher Nelson Jr..

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Kroesser; her children, Chris Nelson (Jan Boyce), Alan Nelson (Melanie), Amy Perkins (William) and Megan Nelson; her stepchildren, Keith Kroesser (Jennifer), Dustin Kroesser (Sarah Simmons), Devon Kroesser and Kelley Kroesser; her grandchildren, Jo Ann Nelson, Morgan Hernandez, Dakota, Jenna Perkins, Gabriella, Madisyn, Chloe Nelson, Cassie, Sierra, Koleman Kroesser, Devan Lamar, Sydney Choate, Magnolia St. Germain, Delaney Millett and Livanah Jones; her great grandchildren, Colson, Oliver, Katherine, Wrenly, Kaylie, Kendall, Liam, Hailyn, Owen and Vada; her siblings, James Curtis (Mary), Matt Cutis, Luke Curits (Richard Fisher), Debbie Smith and Jackie Preston (Kendall); her sisters-in-law, Wanda and Brenda Curtis; her close friends, Rev. Janet Decker and Rev. Angel Dowling; and her pets, Bailey and Finn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
