Byron leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Byron’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Byron will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeph Prosser and Gertrude Fenderson Prosser; his wife Ruth Essex Prosser; and his son Keith Allen Prosser. He is survived by: his children, Byron Prosser Jr. (Zoeann), Rodney Prosser (Barbara) and Dorothy Small. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Veilleux-Redington-Lawry Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Albion Christian Church.
