It is with sadness that the passing of Gay P. Maheu (Waterville, Maine) is shared. Gay, born on August 15, 1936, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Rancourt and Gilberte Rancourt (Roy); her sister Ann Gilbert; and her husband Donald A. Maheu. She is survived by: her siblings, Jeanette Leblanc of Florida and William Rancourt of China, ME; her children, Deborah Carr (Michael), Susan Perry (Colonel (Ret) Warren), James Maheu (Kristen), Vera Maheu and Robert Maheu (Dawn); her grandchildren, Matthew, Erin, Katie, Michael and Sam; and her great grandchildren, Dalton, Grant, River and Margot.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Notre Dame Parish (116 Silver St, Waterville, ME 04901). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery (143 Blue Star Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
