She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Pooler and Isabelle Pooler (Parody); her husband John; her children, John Gerald and Judith; and her brothers, Donald, Leland, Bernard and Carleton.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Richard J Nimon (Melissa), Shirley M Wiles and Sherry M Forrester; her great grandchildren, Steven Edgecomb, Eric Worthing, Donald Brochu, Ricky Corbett, Lance Maxim and Sadi Nimon; her sister-in-law Sophie Pooler; and her niece Sandra Paulette. She is also survived by 7 great great grandchildren.
