Lorice touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Lorice’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank E. Nickless and Ethel "Mildred" Nickless (Pullen); her grandmother Nana Banana'; her husband John Joseph Hafenecker; her sister Verna Ann; her son Kyle; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Hafenecker.
She is survived by: her children, John Gary Hafenecker (Gary), Cheryl Daly (Tom) and Leslie Dolan (Patrick). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, with one more precious great-grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the GSBC (Getchell St. Baptist Church) (3 Getchell St, Waterville, ME 04901).
