With sadness, we share the passing of Ronald Smith (Waterville, Maine). Ronald, born on June 9, 1937, passed away on July 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Eugene Cole; his brother Erwin Emery; his stepson Andrew Mosher; his stepson-in-law Dennis Kent; and his great grandchild Billy Cole.

He is survived by: his son Randy; his close friend Don; his pets, Pepper, Punky and Shawna; his wife Sheila Smith; his children, Randall Smith of Florida, Sheryl Cole of Norridgewock, Andrew Smith of Waterville, Norman Smith (Silvia) of Harsdorf, Germany, Karen Ross of Norridgewock and Susan Gordon (Tom) of Waterville; his stepchildren, Joanna Kent, Belinda Day (Mike) and Richard Mosher (Mary); his stepdaughter-in-law Shirley Stanley; his siblings, Albert Smith of Arizona, Glorilee Mills (Smith) of Waterville, Linda Gilbert (Joseph) of Augusta, Ervin Emery (Brenda) of Clinton and Charles Emery (Betty) of North Carolina; Joanna, Belinda, Richard, Andrew and Shawna. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.
