He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim LaFountain and Flora Thrasher LaFountain; his wife Audrey Tomah; and his siblings, Sylvia, Richard, Manton and Maurice.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila LaFountain, Wes LaFountain (Jean), Linda LaFountain, David LaFountain (Lee Ann) and Mark LaFountain (Kelly); his grandchildren, Brian Reynolds, Josh, Jayson Neault, Marie Brace, Beth LaFountain, Caitlin Dixon, Alex LaFountain, Joshua and Jacob Key-Maginnis; his great grandchildren, Damon, Noah and Kurtis Reynolds; and his grandchildren, Gwen Brace, Ben, Tyler, David Fisher and Audrey Dixon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gallant Funeral Home (10 Elm St, Waterville, ME 04901). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Winslow VFW (175 Veteran Dr, Winslow, ME 04901).
