He was predeceased by: his parents, William Woodland Worthley and Miriam Worthley (Cluff); and his grandson Patrick Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Worthley (Bourget) of Wells; his sons, Dorran Dougherty (Janet) of Jay and William "Woodie" Worthley of Berwick, Maine; his siblings, Jonathan Worthley, Martha Worthley, Mary Motyka and Elizabeth "Betsy" Restitoyo; his grandchildren, CJ and Jessica; and his great grandchild Morgan Mae.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Wells (111 Chapel Rd, Wells, ME 04090). A masonic service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Ocean Lodge No. (12 Pool Dr, Wells, ME 04090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wells Congregational Church (1695 Post Rd, Wells, ME 04090).
