He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William A. Hefler and Gerardine M. Hefler (Doyle); his son Aaron Hefler (Royce Conner) of Richmond, California; his siblings, Ann Williams of Southern Pines, Martha Sheehy (John) of Concord and Peter Hefler (Janet) of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts; his stepchildren, Carolyn Hazard (Will Sachse) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert Hazard (Gabrielle) of Wellesley, Massachusetts and James Hazard (Shirin Samadani) of Falmouth; his wife Donna Hazard; and his brothers, William Hefler Jr. and James Hefler. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
