He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Redfern and Theresa Redfern (Frisino); his wife Barbara Redfern; and his brother Thomas Redfern. He is survived by: his children, Mark Redfern (Karen) of Wilmington, MA, Kathy Bradley (Brad) of Methuen, MA, Susan Trearchis (Jamie) of Tyngsboro, MA and Gary Redfern (Annmarie) of Burlington, MA; his grandchildren, Jenessa, Zachary, Nicole, Allison, Garrett, Blake, Erin and Casey; his great grandchildren, Madison, Danica, Jack, Calli and Olivia; and his nieces and nephews, Pam, Eileen, Karen, John and Jeff.
