It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Spofford (Wells, Maine), born in Hillsboro, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Spofford and Helena Spofford (Quackenbush); and his siblings, Avery "Touk" Spofford and Beatrice "Bea" Lancto. He is survived by : his sons, Raymond (Sandy) and Steven (Megan); his grandchildren, Jacob, Noel and Ainsley Spofford; and his stepgrandchildren, Chuck Lashinsky and Katie Baggs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's name to Hospice of Southern Maine, 390 US Route One, Scarborough, ME 04074.
