She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. McGuire and Hilda F. McGuire (Moody); and her sister Sandra Whorf. She is survived by: her spouse Chet Garrison; her sons, Edward M. Cook III (Lori A. Cook) of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Keith E. Cook (Dawn M. Hastings) and Randy T. Cook (Christine N. Cook) of West Bath, Maine.; her grandchildren, Michayla Pularo, Kaitlin Cook, Tyler Cook, Rebecca Carlson, Makenzie Wolf, Kaleb Cook (Belak), Allison Morin, Jocelyn Richard, Chase Cook, Cole Cook, Oliver Wong, Aubrey Cook and Natalie Cook; and her siblings, Patricia Dye, Carol Talley, Mary McGuire, Leroy McGuire and James McGuire Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Martha's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help children and families in need.
