David Owen Darveau Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of David Owen Darveau of Whitefield, Maine is shared. David, born on October 18, 1936 in Augusta, Maine, passed away on September 2, 2026. David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Rita; and his children, Sandy, Poncho, Dana and Darlin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, along with many other family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Crystal Falls (1280 Eastern Ave, Chelsea, ME 04330).
