Sharon Loy (Stoops) Walston Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 2, 2025, at the age of 84, Sharon Loy (Stoops) Walston of Wilton, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sharon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sharon farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Resal Thomas Stoops and Edith Ilene Stoops (Rutledge); and her husband Alton James Walston. She is survived by: her children, Darla Brochu (Paul), Laura Kristy Hutchins (Harry), James Springer (Miriam) and Jeannie Acedo (Keith); and her siblings, Deanna Willhoite (Jacky), Ronnie Stoops (Jane), Larry Stoops and Ricky Stoops (Shari). She is also survived by "Nana" to her 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and was loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
