She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Butler Jr. and Martha Butler (Miller). She is survived by : her husband Joel Verdini of Windham; and her brothers, Walter Butler, III of Standish and Joseph Butler of Cushing. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

“Walter and Joe. I am so sorry for your loss. Carol was the first teacher’s aide I had as a new teacher at GVHS. I trusted her completely. Her class work was impeccable, but it was her friendship that I hold close to my heart. She was so dear to me. I could alway count on her. Please know that for me she was a shining star.
