It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith F. Coppersmith (Windham, Maine), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Jensen and Alice Jensen (Duran); her siblings, Joan Tapp Robinson, Virginia Jensen Stenzel, Richard Jensen and James Jensen; her son Michael R. Coppersmith; her grandson Kevin Coppersmith; and her son-in-law Walter "Bill" Brown.

She is survived by: her former spouse Portland Police Detective Bernard S.; her children, William B. Coppersmith (Mary Ann), Robert J. Coppersmith (Paula), David G. Coppersmith (Karen) and Nancy E. Brown; her grandchildren, William B. Coppersmith, Jr. (Whitney), Andrew M. Coppersmith (Sara), Deanna Miras (Steve), Kellie Durgin (Keith), Ryan Menario, Hope Coppersmith, Jennifer Coolbrith (Seth), Mikey Coppersmith and Walter D. Brown, Jr.; her son Taylor; her great grandchildren, Eli D., Haddie M. Coppersmith, Peyton E. Coolbrith, Nathan, Derek, Emilia Miras, Liam K. Coppersmith, Zackory Gallant, Kylee, Jackson and Jett Durgin; her daughter Jamie L Haley (Potter) of Windham; and her friend Jackie Neilson of Windham. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
