He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Worthley (Sweatt); his wife Beverly Jean Worthley; his half-sisters, Madeline Hazel Smith Buckley and Birdena Mildred Smith Murphy; and his siblings, Elaine Worthley Alley, Donna Worthley Provencher and William "Billy" Worthley.
He is survived by: his father James M. Worthley Sr.; his children, Susan Ann Curtis (Dane) of Gorham, David James Worthley (Patty) of Windham and Cheryl Lee Nichols of Windham; his grandchildren, Derek Curtis (Erin) of Standish, Sean Curtis (Lorena) of Gorham, Brian Worthley (Katia) of Bath, Angela Worthley, Chad Legere of Windham, Matthew Nichols, Annita Douglas of Saco, Patrick Nichols, James Wood of Rumford, Jameson, Bentley, Jackson, Leah, Reese, Lincoln, Collin, Layne, Nora, Addy, Maisy and Desmond; and his close friend Gloria "Jeannie" Christie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
