He was predeceased by: his father George Whynot; and his son Kenneth "Spike" Whynot Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Claudia (Kutcher); his daughters, Tambrey Francis (Rodrick Sawyer) and Stacy Gendrolis (Michael); his daughter-in-law Kathy Whynot; and his grandchildren, Betsey Sanborn (Teddy), Danielle Dulac (Brandon), Scott Gendrolis (Kerri Moreau), Karrie Sargent (Steve) and Kristopher Whynot (Laura). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gosnell at 11 Hunnewell Rd., Scarborough, ME, 04074.
