She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Cotton McLucas and Millard McLucas; her son John Plaisted (Michael); her husband Frank "Cliff" Knight; her granddaughter Allison Plaisted Loucks (Stewart); and her great grandchildren, Lorelei of Plano, TX., Barrett of Plano, TX. and Evelynn of Plano, TX..
She is survived by: her son Michael Plaisted of Gorham, ME; her daughter-in-law Peggy Plaisted (late Ruth) of Plano, TX; her stepchildren, Lindsay Knight (family: Stacey Knight Buswell) and Driscinda Knight Smith (Robert); and her niece Rebecca Farnsworth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Westbrook Maine Historical Society, or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
